Rick Galyean is the Executive Director at Gold Shovel Standard. He is a former general contractor, as well as an engineer by training, that brings his twin experience to Gold Shovel Standard. Rick is a spirited evangelist for the Gold Shovel Standard program and works with the Association’s Board of Directors to implement their vision for the program.

Dave Mauerman is the Chief Membership Officer at Gold Shovel Standard. Dave was a Navy Submarine Lieutenant Commander, implementing nuclear procedures, quality assurance and safety programs, while becoming nuclear engineer certified. Dave is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the organization, including Membership.

Greg Lovett is the Chief Operating Officer at Gold Shovel Standard. He is an accomplished senior executive with a proven track record in building, growing and improving companies ranging from privately-held start-ups to publicly-traded corporations. Greg is responsible for all operations, including client services, finance and accounting, HR, software development,  IT, marketing and communications.

Rhonda Smith is the Membership Experience Director at Gold Shovel Standard. Her extensive experience spans customer service and satisfaction roles at major retailers and biomedical companies. Rhonda is responsible for member adoption and rollout, customer experience oversight, member relations and program implementation.

Chad Kocher is the Director of Marketing at Gold Shovel Standard. He has over 12 years experience in strategic marketing and business development for business technology firms, nonprofits and advertising agencies.
