Rick Galyean is the Executive Director of the Gold Shovel Standard program. He is a former general contractor, as well as an engineer by training, and he brings this twin experience to Gold Shovel Standard. Rick is a spirited evangelist for the Gold Shovel Standard program and works with the Association’s Board of Directors to implement their vision for the Gold Shovel Standard program.

Dave Mauerman leads Executive Operations for the Gold Shovel Standard program. Dave was a Navy Submarine Lieutenant Commander, implementing nuclear procedures, quality assurance, and safety programs, while becoming nuclear engineer certified. Dave is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the organization, including Membership.

Her extensive experience spans customer service and customer satisfaction roles at major retailers and biomedical companies. Rhonda is responsible for member adoption and rollout, customer experience oversight, member relations and program implementation.
